What are HIPs?
The Home Information Pack (also known as the HIP) is compulsory for all homes on the market in England and Wales. It is a set of documents that provides the buyer with key information on the property and must be provided by the seller or the seller's agent.
What is an EPC?
The Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) gives home owners, tenants and buyers information on the energy efficiency of their property. It gives the building a standard energy and carbon emission efficiency grade from 'A' to 'G', where 'A' is the most efficient and with the average to date being 'D'.
Services
The EPC is an essential part of the Home Information Pack, which can only be provided by a Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor or Home Inspector.
